Registration marked as Spam

by Schorty Mon May 25, 2015 12:06 am

Hey guys,

just wanted to let you know, that your registration confirmation just got marked as spam. Maybe you can deal with it. I don't know, if you can work with this, but here are the points, why it got marked:

Code: Select all
2.7 DNS_FROM_AHBL_RHSBL RBL: Envelope sender listed in dnsbl.ahbl.org
1.5 URIBL_RHS_DOB Contains an URI of a new domain (Day Old Bread)
[URIs: empiresapart.net]
-0.0 SPF_PASS SPF: sender matches SPF record
2.0 BAYES_80 BODY: Bayes spam probability is 80 to 95%
[score: 0.9121]

Greetings,
Schorty

Yeah.
The fact is, some filters relays on white lists: there are some organizations that keeps them and will insert a domain in the white list under payment.
Since generally it's not as such a big issues, for the moment we are not going with it.
If it creates big trouble for you, let us know :)

It also went straight to my spam folder.

Something else (tiny): The subject heading of the registration e-mail has a really tiny typo in it: Welcome to "Empires Apart Foums"‏
You forgot the R in forums.

It's still not fixed. Its not that bad that it goes straight to spam but the thing is it took time for me to receive it even in the spam folder so I was thinking there is a bug in the forum and after the 2nd request to receive the email I was ready to give up. I can imagine some people that are not that excited about the game might give up. ( it took around 30 min to find the finally find the email I think ).

All forums etc blocks registration activations and so on.. so... it's cool. No issues about that.. I know where to look when i register to web sites... etc.
